A native Brooklyn resident, Steven has surrounded themself in music for almost a decade. Steven attends the Conservatory of music at Brooklyn College as a euphonium player, arranger, and copyist. In addition to academic studies and practicing, Steven runs a TikTok account of over 100,000 followers bringing the euphonium’s voice to new heights with arrangements from Beethoven to Lil Nas X. Their commitment to collaborating with best friends all over the world has landed Steven a contract with Yamaha Music USA in addition to working with brands such as JellyNote and Donner Music. Steven is co-owner of an independent record label and an active member of the Metropolitan Music Community (MMC) as a production manager and full-time member of the Brooklyn Wind Symphony and the Grand Street Community Band. Steven is also the recipient of several music scholarships including the Darrell Chapman scholarship and is expected to graduate summa cum laude in June.
