Oberrauch Piccolo-Trumpet model "Vivaldi I"
In close cooperation with outstanding specialists of this instrument, I can now present the newly developed piccolo trumpet model VIVALDI I. The VIVALDI I is equipped with the rotary valve machine by J. Meinlschmidt. The inner slides are made of nickel silver, the bows of gold brass. In contrast to the VIVALDI II, the pushers 1.-3. are for the right hand, the 4th pusher and the trigger for the 3rd valve pull are for the left hand. This arrangement of the pushers and the mouthpipe, which is attached to the 1st valve, make the piccolo very comfortable to hold and it also feels like a German trumpet. The VIVALDI is tuned by simply changing the A and B leadpipe pins.
The well-balanced intonation in both tunings, the easy response and the very good snap of the notes make it easy for every wind player to play this beautiful instrument.
The VIVALDI can be used in the orchestra or for solo concerts.
