Ismael Brandao

From São Paulo's musical roots, Ismael Brandao began his trumpet journey at 7, mentored by his uncle. By 13, he secured a lead role in a local orchestra. His teen years were filled with solos and orchestral collaborations. In Brazil, he played for TV shows, soap operas, and various artists. His talent was recognized in 2006, winning a young soloist TV competition, leading to a U.S. tour with Branford Marsalis in 2008.

Brandao's trumpet echoed across continents, with pivotal roles in Mobile Symphony, Gulf Coast Symphony, and more. He honed his skills at the University of South Mississippi, participating in global events and training with the Berlin Philharmonic.

Currently with the Britten Pears Orchestra, he contributed to the award-winning opera, Peter Grimes, and toured with Grammy-winner Michael Nyman in Spain. He's shared stages with the Beach Boys, Pentatonix, Josh Turner, and many luminaries. A global musical icon.
